We want to hear directly from you!
If you work in drinking water or wastewater, take a few minutes to tell us about your job and your experience in the sector.
Behind every tap, treatment plant and wastewater network are people.
Aotearoa New Zealand relies on thousands of people to keep water moving safely and reliably every day. But we don’t yet have a complete national picture of who makes up this workforce, what roles they perform, where the skills gaps are, and what the sector will need in the future.
People Behind the Pipes is a national workforce research project designed to change that.
It has been commissioned by Water New Zealand, funded by the Ministry of Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) and undertaken by Cogo, an independent research and insights agency.
We’re asking organisations and the people working across drinking water and wastewater to help us build the clearest picture yet of the workforce behind one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most essential services.
