ProjectMax Young Author of the Year Award
Proudly Supporting ProjectMax Young Author of the Year Award
This award was introduced in 2013. The Young Author of the Year has been established to encourage the participation of young authors. It complements the Paper of the Year Award and will be judged in both the Paper of the Year and the Young Author of the Year categories.
- Lead author to be under 30 years of age at conference time or within two years of graduation
- Support author to be responsible for mentoring author and reviewing paper.
- Lead author must present paper, with support from support author.
The top 30% of entries in this category marked on the basis of the written paper (using the Paper of the Year criteria) will qualify. The prize will awarded solely on the basis of the presentation (using the Presentation of the Year criteria.
The Young Author of the Year will receive a package, including a trophy, cash or in-kind goods or services to the value of $2,500.
Water New Zealand acknowledges the generosity of ProjectMax Limited in sponsoring this Award.

The judges reserve the right to not offer the award depending on the quality of entries. The judges’ decision will be final.
